The old Burlington Railway line from Nelson to Salmo ran through Ymir across the street from the hotel. The track has been removed and it is now a beautiful natural trail for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and back-country access. An abundance of wild life and spectacular natural scenery can be observed while walking this trail along the Salmo River. The natural beauty will take your breath away! |
