The old Burlington Railway line from Nelson to Salmo ran through Ymir across the street from the hotel.The track has been removed and it is now a beautiful natural trail for hiking,mountain biking, cross-country skiing and back-country access. An abundance of wildlife and spectacular scenery can be observed while walking this trail along the Salmo River.The natural beauty will take your breath away!
